Real Estate Experience
A full time realtor since 2010, Jill works with buyers, sellers, and in all phases of construction through the coastal communities of Southern Rhode Island. Her work as a realtor overlaps with her husband Carson’s professional contracting company, Granville Builders.
Before committing to real estate full time, Jill worked for the Town of South Kingstown as the payroll and benefits administrator for the school department.
The Good Stuff
Jill lives just off Main St., Wakefield with her husband Carson and kids Sam and J.R. They enjoy all the benefits of living in Southern RI, paddle boarding Narrow river, hiking and playing at local beaches and walking about town or hitting the bike path.
For you, what’s the most enjoyable part of working in real estate?
To me, working in real estate is the most rewarding job there is and I enjoy all phases of it but if I have to choose one part I like best, it would have to be facilitating the transaction from contract to closing: I love a detailed check list.
Favorite spot in South County?
My favorite spot in South County is Matunuck. I grew up summering here and met my husband at a bonfire on Matunuck Beach in the summer of 2000. We were married on the sea wall next to the Ocean Mist and enjoy visiting our spot as often as possible!
What’s the last gift you gave someone?
The last gift I gave someone was last week after a rather challenging closing. We had had some torrential rains the week leading up to the closing and when I stopped by the morning of the closing I discovered a few inches of water in the basement. This was an investment property, so I immediately called the owner. She set up the sump pump and I spent the morning pumping water out, walk through was at 12:30. We got through it, and on the way to the closing I stopped at Smoothy Booty and picked up the seller some fun new socks as hers got completely wet dealing with the basement. A closing to remember for us both!
What is your spirit animal?
My spirit animal is a cardinal.
